About Me:

I'm married to Heidi and have two children, Brandon, 18 months old and Lindsay, 6 months old. I live in Northern Virginia and have just given up my stay at home Dad position when Lindsay was born.

Why am I joinining Green Corporate Network? Note: This network is about Green hope and achivements. Members who blog on unrelated topics or criticize negatively and offensively on this network will be banned.

I'm networking to find out about the "mission," and how I can contribute as well as actively seeking work in the green industry.

My Green Mission

I'm an avid "re-cycler," and "Free-cycler." I use what I collect and take the rest of my architectural/building finds to places like the Habitat for Humanity "Re-Store." For example, I recycled a shed for my back yard. Using Craigslist I found a shed, tore it down with a friend and re-built it in my backyard. (And immediately filled it with more stuff than I knew I had!) Or for example, I found a bike being thrown and out took it to a local bike shop for a donation.

My real mission right now is to combine a construction material salvage/reuse store along with low VOC and green construction materials for both professional builders and residential consumers.
