Nualgi is invented by Mr T Sampath Kumar of Bangalore and is being marketed by me.
Diatom Algae are a very useful group of algae, they are microscopic aquatic plants that absorb Carbon di oxide and release oxygen in water and are food for fish.
Every feature of the Diatoms is useful and beneficial.
CO2 absobtion reduces Air pollution, O2 released cleans up water and treats Sewage, the fish yield goes up and lipids can be converted into biodiesel.

Nualgi is economical too -just 1 kg is adequate for 4 million litres of water.

Yesterday, the Chief Engineer of NITHM called me to say that the lake on their campus in Gatchi Bowli is getting more polluted day by day. This could be because of septic tank outflow from the newly constructed L&T flats near the campus. The flats are being slowly occupied and the pollution in the lake can only be due to this. This is the norm in all lakes in the world, as population around them goes up they get polluted.

I have adviced him to contact EPTRI to get the water tested and then we can decide if Nualgi can be used.
I had earlier taken a quote from Dr Srinivas for testing water for DO, BOD, pH, etc.

Would you be interested in participating in a detailed and systematic test of Nualgi in NITHM's lake under EPTRI supervision. We need to do this kind of study to document the impact of Nulagi for our marketing effort.

The inventor has used it in a few lakes in Bangalore but his documentation is very poor and incomplete.
